Garden & Lawn Maintenance in Davao City
We maintain gardens and lawns across Davao City on a schedule — weekly or twice a month — covering grass cutting, edging, hedge trimming, weeding, light pruning and haul-away of green waste. Typical plans run ₱2,500–₱5,000 per month for a lot up to 300 sqm at two visits a month, and ₱5,000–₱9,000 for weekly service. Overgrown gardens are brought back with a one-time reclaim visit first.
Davao grows things whether you want it to or not. Carabao grass that was cut on Sunday is ankle-deep by the following weekend in rainy season, bougainvillea takes over a wall in a month, and a lot that was left alone during a trip abroad comes back as a small forest. Fertilizer, replacement plants and soil are billed at cost. Lots above 600 sqm, farm lots and resort grounds are quoted after a site visit.
Why a schedule costs less than catching up
Garden work in the tropics is cheap when it is little and often and expensive when it is rare and heroic. A fortnightly visit keeps grass at a height a trimmer handles in forty minutes; a garden left for three months needs a full day, a second person and a truck for the waste, and the lawn comes back patchy. Hedges have the same logic — a light trim every few weeks holds the shape, while a hard cut after months of neglect leaves bare wood that takes a season to recover.
For owners who are not in Davao, the schedule does something else: it is a regular pair of eyes on the property. Our crews photograph what they see — a cracked wall, a gate that no longer locks, a neighbour’s construction dumping soil on your lot — and it reaches you the same day. Many of our garden plans run alongside a monthly property check for exactly that reason.
What a maintenance visit includes
Each visit works to a written scope for your garden. The standard scope:
Grass cutting and edging. Mowed or trimmed to an even height, edges along paths and walls cut clean, clippings collected — not blown onto the road.
Hedges and shrubs. Shaped and trimmed on rotation; santan, bougainvillea, ficus and eugenia hedges kept to the line you want, not the line they want.
Weeding and beds. Planting beds, gravel areas and pavers weeded; mulch or soil topped up when needed (materials at cost).
Light pruning and dead-heading. Dead branches, spent flowers and low-hanging growth over walkways removed. Large tree work is quoted separately with a tree specialist.
Cleanup and haul-away. All green waste bagged and removed from the property. Gutters and drains near the garden cleared of leaves when we see them filling.
Eyes on the property. Standing water, termite mud tubes, damaged fences and gate issues photographed and reported — useful if you are not living there.

Frequently asked questions
Can you look after the garden while we are abroad for months?
Yes — this is a large part of our work. We coordinate access with your caretaker, guard or subdivision admin, keep the schedule, and send photos after each visit so you can see the property is being kept, not just the grass.
Do you do landscaping or only maintenance?
Maintenance is the core service. Small improvements — new plants, a gravel bed, replacing a dead hedge — we handle within the plan at material cost. Full landscape design and hardscaping we quote separately with a landscaping partner.
What about big trees or coconut palms?
Coconut, mango and other large trees need climbers and proper cutting tools. We arrange it with a tree crew and quote per tree; routine coconut harvesting can be added to a plan for lots with several palms.
Is fertilizer or pest treatment included?
Basic feeding and spot treatment for common pests are part of the routine; products are billed at cost. If a lawn has a serious grub or fungus problem we tell you what it needs and price it before treating.
